We will inspect your dryer configuration. Our tech will verify your ducting from your dryer to the wall is in good shape. We will determine where your dryer vent exhausts to the exterior of your home.

A decision will be made on which dryer vent cleaning tools will be used for the job. On most jobs we use high pressurized reverse air to blast all of the lint and debris from the back of your dryer to the exhaust on the exterior of your home. In some special cases we may use a professional grade brush system. If the vent has a severe blockage, a birds nest, or any other out of the norm issue our brush system may be used. We also may use a camera system to verify blockages have been removed or if there may be any breaks in the ducting.

We will verify the air flow from your dryer to ensure a 100% clean vent.

How often should I get my dryer vent cleaned?

Dryer vent cleaning is recommended annually in general. Like air duct cleaning, there are many factors that go into the accumulation in your dryer vent. Do you have pets that shed? How many loads of laundry do you do on average? The design is a major factor for your dryer vent. There are vents that disperse directly out the wall all the way to vents that are 30 feet long with 90 degree angles and vent out to the roof of your home. Our technicians can advise you on a frequency of future cleanings.

Why should I get my dryer vent cleaned?

Dryer vent cleaning is recommended for many reasons. Keeping a clean dryer vent can help you avoid costly repairs. When the vent get’s restricted the dryer cannot operate with efficiency and may lead to malfunctions such as heating element failure and motor failure. Drying times and electricity/ gas costs can be substantially reduced with routine dryer vent maintenance.
